Philip’s approach is shaped by his leadership in developing professional standards for rural arbitration. He authored current RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) guidelines and regularly speaks on dispute resolution, aiming to make the process more accessible and efficient for all involved.

He is frequently called upon to act as an arbitrator or expert witness, and has appeared as advocate in more than 150 rural arbitrations, agricultural land tribunals, and public inquiries.

He works to make the process more accessible for those less familiar with legal procedures, helping clients engage with confidence and achieve timely, predictable outcomes.
